Neil Rambo

July 2, 1943 — December 12, 2011

Neil Rambo, age 68, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on December 12, 2011 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Chicago Heights, IL, he is the son of Harold Edwin Rambo of Iowa Falls, IA and the late Flora Lucille Noakes. He was employed with Bechtel Corporation and was a member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, the N.R.A. and the Elks Club in Abingdon. He was a former member of the Bush River Yacht Club and the Eastern Yacht Club. An avid boater, he enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and kidding with his family and friends.

Mr. Rambo is survived by his wife of 37 years, Carol R. Westwood Rambo of Abingdon, MD; sons, Carson Paul Rambo of Abingdon, MD, Keith Neil Rambo of Aberdeen, MD, Raymond Weigle of Soldotna, AK and Robert Weigle of Anchorage, AK; daughters, Michelle R. Johnson of Abingdon, MD, Nancy Weigle of Monterey, CA, Linda Base of Bel Air, MD and Susan Weigle of San Francisco, CA; brothers Greg and Bob Rambo of Chicago, IL; sister, Cindy Ellingson of Iowa Falls, IA; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
