Neil B. Gray, Sr.

Neil B. Gray, age 86, of Churchville, MD passed away on December 13, 2013 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Bridgeton, PA, he was the son of the late Joseph John Gray and Gretta Chapel McMillion Zarfos. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was a Civilian Gunner at Aberdeen Proving Ground where he retired December 31, 1982 after 33 years of service. He then went on to work at Bel Air Sew and Vac for 12 years and was a member of Reformation Bible Church in Dublin and the American Legion in Aberdeen. He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, puzzles and reading and was loved by his cat, MOPAR.

Mr. Gray is survived by his wife of 63 years, Gladys E. Miller Gray; sons, Neil B. Gray Jr. of Waterloo, AL, Raymond Joseph Gray of Churchville and Steven R. Gray and wife, Michele, of Dallastown, PA; brother, Wilmer Gray of York, PA; grandchildren, David, Travis, Jason, Joshua, Nathan and Danielle Gray; and five great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Roy Gray and sisters, Ethel Grove and Verna Matson.

Pallbearers were Joseph, Steven, Jason, David, Joshua and Nathan Gray.
