Nathan Lee "Stoney" Tate Jr., age 53, of Aberdeen, MD, died on January 10, 2009 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Havre de Grace, MD, he was the son of Margaret Mae Maurice Tate of Havre de Grace, MD and the late Nathan Lee Tate Sr. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he had worked as a Damage Investigation Supervisor for UtiliQuest and was an avid NASCAR fan. His family said he also loved to sing.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Tate is survived by his wife, Deborah Lynn Tate of Aberdeen, MD; children, Christina Eileen Kraus and husband, Robert, of Conowingo, MD, Michael Allen Tate, and David Lee Tate; brothers and sisters, June Major and husband, Bill, of Conowingo, MD, Sharon Williams and husband, Sid, and Mickey Hebditch, all of Havre de Grace, MD, Maurice Lee Tate and wife, Mary Anne, of Florida, and Linda Sue McReynolds of Virginia; and two grandchildren, Charisa Eileen Kraus and Robert Josiah Kraus of Conowingo, MD.
