NATHAN KAMBARN, age 72, of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on February 17, 2004. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Nathan Henry, Sr. and Margaret Louise Bateman Kambarn. He had retired from the Washington Post where he worked as a print and type setter. He was an Eagle Scout, an avid wood carver, and enjoyed carving birds. He attended Maryland School for the Deaf. He was resident at Jacobs Well in Bel Air. He liked gardening, carpenter work, painting, writing and reading.
Mr. Kambarn is survived by one son, Michael Henry Kambarn of Arlington, Texas; two daughters, Marcia E. Rhodes of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania; Marjorie L. Oliver of Oxford, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Julia F. Cobb of York, Pennsylvania; Martha Franklin of Charlotte, North Carolina; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Gwendolyn Kambarn and a loving companion, Victoria Sowers.
