Naomi Goetze

September 6, 1921 — September 22, 2010

Naomi R. Goetze, age 89, of Abingdon, MD, died on September 22, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Simon E. Seekford and Rhufell Cameron, and wife, for 50 years, of the late Walter H. Goetze Jr. She was employed at Ben Franklin for over 20 years, and was active with Faith Lutheran Church. A member of the Joppatowne Senior Citizens Clubs and Edgewood Golden Age Club, she loved to do crafts, traveling, puzzles, bingo, and playing with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Goetze is survived by her children, Marlene P. Grasso and husband, Michael, of NJ, Ronald W. Goetze and wife, Beverly, of Edgewood, MD, and Sharon A. Stevanus and husband, Steve, of Joppa, MD; sister-in-law, Elizabeth P. Goetze of Abingdon, MD; grandchildren, Meredith and Michelle Grasso of NY, Christopher Goetze of Bel Air, MD, and Amy Goetze of Edgewood, MD; and great-grandchildren, Quincy, Isaiah, Malachi, and Noah Goetze, all of Edgewood, MD.
