NAOMI E. CLOMAN, age 98, of Joppa, MD, died on January 20, 2007, at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Darlington, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Lewis and Bertha Melinda Deaver Dubree and the wife of the late Julian (Judy) E. Cloman. She was one of seven children. She was a homemaker and a quilter for a number of years. She also did crochet, knitting, and sewing. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Rebekah’s Lodge, Lodge 178, of Upper Falls, MD. She enjoyed bus trips, bingo, and going to her Eastern Shore home in the summer.
Mrs. Cloman is survived by one son, Jack E. Cloman of Joppa, MD; one sister, Helen Williams of Colora, MD; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Cloman was predeceased by five siblings, and two sons, Edwin R. Cloman and James A. Cloman.
Pallbearers will be Edwin Cloman Jr., Douglas Cloman, Douglas Cloman II, Larry Delbridge, Bradley Delbridge and David Winnie.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, 1100 Philadelphia Road, Joppa, MD 21085 or Rebekah Lodge #178 of Upper Falls, 7801 Bradshaw Rd., Upper Falls, MD 21156.
