Nanette Fabray Hopkins

Nanette Fabray Hopkins, age 71, of Forest Hill, Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2025, at Senator Bob Hooper House. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the beloved daughter of the late Charles and E. Lauretta (Grafton) Phillips and the devoted wife of Carroll Hopkins.

Nanette had a deep love for animals, especially horses and her cherished dogs. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending sunny days at the beach, sharing laughter with her family, and creating special memories with her grandchildren. Her kind spirit, playful sense of humor, and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and warmth that will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Nanette is survived by her daughters, Katlin Swank and her husband David, and Jaclin Hopkins; son, Jeremiah Hopkins, and his wife Katie; sister, Charlene Barberry; brothers, Blair Phillips, Craig Phillips and his wife Grace; grandchildren, Micah Swank, Jacy Swank, Noah Hopkins, and Jacob Hopkins. 

In addition to her parents, Nanette was preceded in death by her son, Jason Hopkins.
