Nancy Stifler

Nancy Stifler, age 76, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 6, 2009 at her home. Born in Bel Air, MD, she was the daughter of the late Cardiff Norris McComas and Mary Alice Magness Kropff and wife of the late William C. Stifler Jr. She was born and raised on a farm not far from her home in Bel Air. She was a foster mother for several children who she raised from infancy to adulthood. One of her hobbies included loving and caring for many animals. She had worked for Mariner Health and Rehabilitation in Bel Air where she was a cook.

Mrs. Stifler is survived by her son, William C. Stifler III of Street, MD; daughter, Terry Susan Stifler of Edgewood, MD; brother, Larry Owen Kropff of Bel Air, MD; granddaughter, Brittney N. Sconion of Edgewood, MD; great-granddaughter, Breonna N. Howard of Edgewood, MD; nephew, Joseph O. Kropff of Bel Air, MD; niece, Gabrielle Kropff of Bel Air, MD; and foster children, Kenneth Langschultz of Hartford, CT, Ronnie White of Airdale, PA, Bonnie White of Baltimore, MD, and Herbert Sentz of Baltimore, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a foster child, Michael Sentz.
