Nae O. Welch

Nae O. Welch, age 87, of Towson, Maryland passed away on December 16, 2022 at Manor Care Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Towson, Maryland. Born in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, she was the daughter of Charles and Blanche (Johnson) Billings. Nae lived in Maryland most of her life until 1972 when she moved to Georgia for several years. Nae moved back to Maryland where she has resided since 1982.

Nae is survived by her son, James A. Welch of Powder Springs, Georgia; granddaughters Lindsay (Alex) Anderson of Powder Springs, GA and Jamie Welch of Temple, GA; brothers, Theodore R. Billings of North Wilkesboro, NC, Ben F. Billings of Darlington and Dwight W. Billings of Darlington; sisters, Mae Carter of Myrtle Beach, SC, Patricia Laing of Havre de Grace, Bettye S. Courtain of Yuma, AZ and Hope M. Billings of Hamilton, TX.

In addition to her parents, Nae was preceded in death by brothers, Ray L. and William R. Billings and sisters, Nancy M. Lundy and Mary Jane Billings.
