Myrtle Maude Miller

Myrtle Maude Miller, 87, of Joppa, MD passed away on October 31, 2017 at her home. Born in Bald Mountain, NC, she was the daughter of Thomas J. and Mae (Church) Wall and was the wife of the late Loyd H. Miller. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Joppa for many years and was strong in her Christian faith. She was a caring and giving mother who always extended herself to help others while putting her own needs aside. Her grandchildren meant everything to her.

Mrs. Miller is survived by her son, Roger H. Miller of Aberdeen, grandchildren, Colin Miller, Shaylyn Miller, Ryan Miller and Justin Wade; brother, James Wall; and sisters, Sarah Jones, Irene Hartley and Sandra Miller. An honorable mention for her devoted and dedicated caregivers over the last couple of years Agnes, Tewa and Teresa.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael L. Miller, one brother and one sister.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, 1317 Cokesbury Road, Abingdon, MD 21009 on Monday, November 6, 2017 from 11 am to 12 noon at which time the service will begin. Interment will take place at Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air.
