Myrtle Sadlowski was born Oct. 7, 1922 in Baltimore, Md. She was the daughter of the late Myrtle F. Miller and William A. Miller
She married in 1967, to Wadsworth J. Sadlowski, now deceased. She was predeceased by her brothers: William E., S. Allan, and R. Warren Miller, and one sister, Evelyn Ann Kolski. She is survived by nieces: Jane Miller, Lynda Kolski, Patty Kolski, Barbara Allan Swartz, Maryalice Miller, and one nephew William E. Miller III, and many grand nieces and nephews.
Myrtle Sadlowski graduated from Bel Air High School in 1940, attended Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland. She worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground and retired in 1973 as chief of the Architectural Br. Post Engineering Division. She was honored in 2002 by APG as one of the Professional Women in Science and Engineering for contributing to defense efforts, and received many other awards. She was a Harford County Living Treasure. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Girl Scout Leadership and was President of the Town & Country Woman's Club. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church and was a past Vestry person for St. Mary's Episcopal Church. After retirement, she studied Archaeology and Genealogy. She played bridge, and traveled the world many times.
