Morgan T. Reedy

MORGAN T. REEDY, age 84, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 9, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Rugby, VA, he was the son of the late James Franklin and Phoebe Jane Waddell Reedy. He worked for 30 years at Aberdeen Proving Ground as an Electronic Technician in the Ballistics Research Laboratory. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. An avid golfer, he was a member of Swan Creek Country Club.

Mr. Reedy is survived by his wife of 62 years, Reva Henderson Reedy of Bel Air, MD; a son, Bill Reedy and his wife, Donna, of Durham, NC; two daughters, Karen Riley and her husband, Thomas, of Delta, PA and Diana Abbott and her husband, Gary Coulter, of Bel Air, MD; a sister, Hazel Blevins of Havre de Grace, MD; five grandchildren, Meghan Briley and her husband, Adam, of Virginia Beach, VA, Kevin and Colin Riley of Delta, PA, Brandon and Meredith Reedy of Durham, NC; and one great-granddaughter, Peyton Briley of Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, James Bruce Reedy and a sister, Dorothy Eunice Jenkin.
