Mitzi Ellen Jackson

Mitzi Ellen Jackson, age 61, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on July 8, 2023 in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Billy and Patsy (Burchette) Poole and wife of Gary Jackson. Mitzi met Gary at Wargos in Jarrettsville, MD. They soon after became married for 33 years, and they continued to frequent Wargos together on the weekends. Mitzi Worked at Harford County Public Library for 43 years. Mitzi was very family oriented and loved trips with Gary to Atlantic City and country concerts with her daughter, Jessica. She had a love for soap operas, country, and classic rock music and collecting jewelry, especially rings.

In addition to her husband, Mitzi is survived by her daughter, Jessica Lynn Jackson, and her fiancé Theodore Preston Thornton; son, Dylan Joseph Jackson; Dylan's fiancé, Marissa Blattner and a grandson on the way.

In addition to her parents, Mitzi was preceded in death by her brother, William Louis Poole.
