MILTON “RAY” MOXLEY, age 90, of Street, MD, died at the home of his daughter in Delta, Pennsylvania on October 3, 2003. Born in Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, he was the son of the late John Robert Franklin and Octavia Baker Moxley, and the husband for 24 years of the late Caroline M. Moxley and then the husband of 28 years to June A. Moxley. He worked as a custodian for 20 years at Bel Air High School. He had also been a truck driver for Standard Equipment and had worked in their factory, as well as farmed for many years. A resident of Harford County for 60 years, he enjoyed fishing. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WW II.
Mr. Moxley is survived by a daughter, Judy Harris of Delta, Pennsylvania; three sons, Milton R. Moxley of Swedesboro, New Jersey; Richard L. Moxley of Baltimore; David E. Moxley of Seattle, Washington; two step-daughters, M. Katherine Parsons of Elkton and Patricia J. Ballard of Bel Air; one sister, Cecil Virginia Cook of White Marsh; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wives, he was predeceased by son, John F. Moxley.
Pallbearers were: Larry Harris, Jr., Robert Moxley, John T. Espey, Ron Ballard, John Gibson, Jesse Lohr, Brian Moxley, and Mack B. Dowell.
