Milton E. "Mick" Absher, of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 70 on November 15, 2016 at his home. He was born in Darlington, MD to William Walter and Martha Elvira (Barker) Absher. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Vietnam War. For over 20 years, he owned his own construction business. He liked to golf and enjoyed spending time in his workshop. He was a member of Wrightsdale Baptist Church in Peach Bottom, PA and also enjoyed time with his family, gardening and traveling with his wife.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Ellen Lucille Absher; his children, Jaime Meyers and husband, Bill, Amy Beeker and fiancé, Mark Creighton, and Jennifer Gray and husband, Doug, all of Bel Air; grandchildren, Mickey, Timmy and Abby Inskeep, Joshua and George Beeker, Matthew and Mila Gray; step-grandchildren, Madison Meyers, Michael Holder and Camden Creighton; brothers, Floyd, Charles and Carl Absher of Pennsylvania; and sisters, Mary Anders of Darlington, Edna Burton of Delaware and Charlotte LaBelle of South Carolina. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Vernon Absher, Melvin Absher and Louise Johnson.
