Million Elliott Daneker

February 17, 1915 — April 3, 2009

Million Elliott Daneker, age 94, of Fallston, MD, died on April 3, 2009 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Rutherford Daneker Sr. and Anna Mae Elliott Daneker. A past president of the Bel Air Rotary Club, he had owned and operated, along with his brother Brod Daneker, the Million Rutherford Company, which was commonly known as Daneker Clocks in Fallston, MD.

Mr. Daneker is survived by his wife of 70 years, A. Lucille Daneker of Fallston, MD; son, Million Daneker Jr. of Bel Air, MD; daughter Alice Marshall of Abingdon, MD; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by five siblings, Charles "Brod" Daneker, Sam Harrison, George Harrison, Sadie Beshore, and Reba Reckord.

Pallbearers were Bill Heckner, Clarence Hitchcock, Tommy Daneker, Adam Daneker, Merritt Fausnaugh, Mill Daneker III, and Christian Fausnaugh.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made for cancer research to Johns Hopkins University/Kimmel Cancer Center, One Charles Center, 100 N. Charles St., Suite 234, Baltimore, MD 21201.
