Mildred Young

MILDRED YOUNG, age 73, of Edgewood, died at her home on August 4, 2005. Born in Twin Branch, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Carrie Vance Ray. A homemaker, she loved to cook and bake and do crochet. She also liked to camp. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for 12 years and, prior to that, a member of Edgewood Baptist Church for 25 years.

Mrs. Young is survived by her husband of 53 years, Carl Young; two sons, Danny C. Young of Delta, Pennsylvania and David L. Young of Bel Air; one daughter, Donna L. Harris of Forest Hill; one brother, Finley P. Ray of Baltimore; one sister, Mecca Mitchell of Abingdon; and seven grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: grandsons, Matthew Young, Mark Young, and Jeffrey Harris; nephews, Henry Mitchell and Larry Farinetti; and friend, Mark Christopher.
