Mildred O. Riley, age 90, of Forest Hill, MD, died on April 25, 2011 at her home. Born in Kewanee, IL, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Vernon and Laura Bell Waddel Tibbs. A lifelong resident of Harford County she worked for 60 years at Atlanta Hall Farms which is owned and operated by the Voss family of Monkton. She loved her family, gardening and her flowers.
Mrs. Riley is survived by her husband, who she married in 1944, William Henry Riley of Forest Hill, MD; son, Thomas E. Riley and wife, Karen, of Delta, PA; daughters, M. Louise Riley of Forest Hill, MD, Gail E. Haines of Jarrettsville, MD and A. Carol Amon of Bel Air, MD; sisters, Ruby A. McConnell of Edgewood, MD, Barbara L. Alvarado of Hyde, MD, and Freda R. Compton of Joppatowne, MD; brother, Harry V. Tibbs of Joppa, MD; grandchildren, Joseph E. Haines and wife, Carrie of Stewartstown, PA, Jennifer Haines Driscoll and husband, Daniel, of Bel Air, MD, Christopher A. and Laura E. Amon of Bel Air, MD, Kevin T. and Colin A. Riley of Delta, PA, and Craig W. Riley of Baltimore, MD; and great-grandson, Carter H. Driscoll of Bel Air, MD. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Charles V. Riley, sister, N. Irene Greer and brother, H. Thomas Tibbs.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Riley, Joseph Haines, Colin Riley, Chris Amon, and Dan Driscoll.
