Mildred Irene West

MILDRED IRENE WEST, age 85, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 4, 2006 at the Four Seasons Assisted Living Home in Bel Air, MD. Born in Meadow Grove, NE, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Jackson and Flora Isabelle Garris West. She retired in 1985 after 35 years of service with the US Department of Labor where she was a supervisor of payroll. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion in Washington, DC.

Miss West is survived by two brothers, Harold West of Bel Air, MD and Garland “Bud” West of Williamsburg, VA; and three sisters, Clara Eastridge and Katherine Chatham, both of Darlington, MD and Celia Tyson of Pylesville, MD.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Marvin West and Garnet West.
