MILDRED HARRIS ZEALOR, age 81, of Bel Air, formerly of Overlea, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on May 24, 2003. Born in Washington, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Franklin Taylor and Ethel Mildred Dailey Harris, and the wife of the late Robert Carl Zealor, Sr. She had worked as a furniture store accountant. She was a current member and a past president of the Overlea Perry Hall Unit of American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. A volunteer at the Parkview Senior Housing, she helped in the library. She also volunteered at the Parkville Senior Center where she helped serve lunches and was in charge of their library.
Mrs. Zealor is survived by one son, Robert Carl Zealor, Jr. of Bel Air; one daughter, Florence E. Spicka of Edgemere; two brothers, William “Buck” Harris of Charlotte, North Carolina; Robert Harris of Greenville, North Carolina; one sister, Faye Elkins of Ramona, California; and five grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one brother, J.T. Harris.
In lieu of flowers, those who desire may contribute to the Bel Air United Methodist Church, 21 Linwood Avenue, Bel Air, Maryland 21014.
