Mildred E. Seling

MILDRED “MUTZ” E. SELING, age 82, of Joppa, MD, died on March 20, 2006 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Carrie Lina Martin Rixham, and the wife of the late James F. Seling. She was a retired flower grower for Rye’s Greenhouse in Perry Hall, MD. She was a member of the Golden Age Club in Joppatowne, and enjoyed gardening, raising flowers, traveling, entertaining with her family and playing bingo.

Mrs. Seling is survived by three sons, Frederick W. Seling, James F. Seling, Jr. and Robert L. Seling, all of Joppa, MD; one daughter, Joyce M. McCusker of Joppa, MD; six grandchildren, Tracey M. Seling of Joppa, MD, Russell J. Wilkerson of Newport News, VA, Carrie S. McCusker and Lindsay A. McCusker, both of Joppa, MD, and Charles A. Seling and Jacob D. Seling, both of Pinola, MS; and one great-grandson, Devin Fleckstein of Joppa, MD.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Sue A. Wilkerson.

Pallbearers will be Frederick W. Seling, James F. Seling, Jr., Robert L. Seling, Bart Dunn, Britt Dunn and Russell J. Wilkerson.
