MILDRED ANN THOMPSON, age 76, of Baltimore, MD, died on January 27, 2008 at Tender Loving Care in Edgewood, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Teresa Marie Kopczeski Brofka. She worked as a bank teller and had lived in Parkville most of her life, until she moved into the Tender Loving Care home in Edgewood in 2000. She was a member of St. Thomas Moore in Parkville and enjoyed singing. She loved life and adored her grandchildren.
Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Claude Thompson of Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Donna Bannon and her husband, Jack Bannon, of Bel Air, MD and Patricia Thompson of Parkville, MD; three brothers, Vincent Brofka of Baltimore, MD, Edward Brofka of Marion, IL, and John Brofka of Swansea, IL; three sisters, Evelyn Smerowski of Gastonia, NC, Bernice Svitil and Christine Wach, both of Landsdowne, MD; and two grandchildren, Sean and Allison Bannon of Bel Air, MD.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harford Hospice, 8003 Corp. Drive, Suite G, Baltimore, MD 21236 or to the Alzheimers Disease Association, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093-5142.
