Mike Tama, age 78, of Forest Hill, MD, died on October 25, 2010 at his home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Carmello and Rose Tama. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he worked his whole life for Grumman Aircraft as a Stationary Engineer. A private pilot, he loved to fly and was a past Master in the Masons. He also had refurbished and ran the locomotive at Flying Point Park on the Bush River for about 15 years.
Mr. Tama is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Forier Tama of Forest Hill, MD; son, Michael J. Tama Sr. of Forest Hill, MD; daughter, Dottie J. Hall of Aberdeen, MD; sisters, Josephine and Anna, both of NY; and grandson, Michael J. Tama Jr. of Forest Hill, MD. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Steven J. Tama.
