Michael Wayne Shipe, age 41, of Bel Air, MD passed away suddenly on August 16, 2013 in Joppa, MD. Born in Richmond, VA, he is the son of Dorothy Deborah Baker Stanton of Laurel, MD and the late Ralph Wayne Shipe. He was a mechanic for Priceless Industries, Inc for 7 years, as well as, a certified Mig and Tig welder for 20 years. A member of the Maryland Blacksmith Guild his passion was making fabricating metal in various forms. An avid collector of coins and knives, he enjoyed restoring muscle cars. He also was a softball coach for his daughters with Harford County Parks Rec. Mike cherished the time he spent with his family and time in West Virginia and the Outer Banks.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Shipe is survived by his wife of eight years, Bonnie T. Zuro Shipe; daughters, Hannah D. Folderauer and Rebecca A. Folderauer both of Bel Air; brothers, R. Patrick Shipe of Frederick and Johnathan Shipe of Baltimore; sisters, Linda Moore of Curtis Bay and Allison Cox of Ventura, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, private donations may be sent directly to Bonnie Shipe and daughters.
