Michelle Bernadine Cooper

Michelle Bernadine Cooper, age 64, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on February 2, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the one and only the daughter of Harry and Sarah (Rice) Johnson. Growing up she enjoyed attending Clarks UMC with her parents and three brothers. Over the years, Michelle became very active in numerous committees including SPPRC, United Methodist Women, a faithful usher, and enjoyed singing on the women’s choir. Michelle was an avid reader of books of all genres. She passed the love of reading to her daughters and granddaughter. She really enjoyed watching reality television shows and thrift shopping. Michelle attended school at Meadowvale Elementary School and Havre de Grace Middle and High School. She was cheer captain and homecoming queen. She furthered her education at Harford Community College.

Michelle was married to John Lee Cooper and to this union, two daughters were born.

Michelle leaves behind a loving family which includes her husband, John Cooper; daughters, Amberly Cooper and Stephanie Cooper; granddaughter, Ava Ogletree; brothers, Harry Sterling Johnson, Eric Johnson and Gary Johnson; and an uncle, aunt, several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
