Michael "Mike" Zelinsky

Michael “Mike” Zelinsky of Aberdeen, MD formerly of Charleroi, PA passed away suddenly on March 7, 2025, at the age of 60. Born July 23, 1964, he was the son of the late Theodore “Teddy” Zelinsky and Jacqueline “Jackie” (Ciepley) Zelinsky. Mike was a graduate of Charleroi area High School with the class of ’82 of whom he maintained a great relationship with his classmates. After graduation he enlisted in the Navy and served on the USS Inchon where he got to travel the world. After serving his country he worked as a Master Electrician for Solar Energy Industry where he showed great enthusiasm for his work and loved the personal nature of his jobs.

Mike was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan attending many home games with his wife, Paula. Mike loved his family more than anything and enjoyed getting together with his many friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife who he always called his bride, Paulette “Paula” (Seago) Zelinsky, his son Christopher “Chris” Clawson and daughter Christina “T” (Clawson) Jack and her husband Brandon. He adored and loved his babies MJ and Jake. He is survived by his brother Wayne Zelinsky and wife Kristen of St. Petersburg, FL, nieces Taylor and Brooke; Uncle Myron and wife Beatrice Ciepley, and his “Teta” Andrea Hopkins (the late Bill Hopkins) of Monessen, and numerous cousins. Also survived by Judy Summers who was like a mother to Mike.

A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be held at a later date.
