Michael Joseph Kane,”Bud” age 84, of Belcamp, Maryland passed away on July 7, 2023 at Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Francis Xavier Kane and Marie Catherine (Leitsch) Kane, and husband of the late Barbara Ann (Cilurso) Kane. Michael loved his children and his grandchildren dearly. He cherished any time he got to spend with them. He was very passionate about his city of Pittsburgh and was an avid sports fan. He loved following the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates, and Penguins. In honor of Michael's love for his city, the family invites anyone attending the viewing to wear black and gold.
Michael is survived by his three daughters, Susan Carol Kane Mallernee and husband Dennis, Sandra Kane Garrett and husband Jeffrey and Sharon Elizabeth Kane; son, Christopher Michael Kane and wife Jamie; brother, Joseph Kane and wife Frances; sister, Patricia Double and the late Jan; sister-in-law, Donna Kane; grandchildren, Jai, Nicole, Trey, Jessica, Justin, Leah, Caitlyn, Brandon, Lux, and Remy; great-grandchildren, Seven, Winter, Gage, James, Madelynn, Riley, Emmy, Cayden, Lianah, Elladee, and Everleigh; Loving partner of seven years, Marlene Raglin; and many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Daniel Kane,William Kane, Frances Profeta, Ruth Simon, James Kane, Robert Kane, Thomas Kane, Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Anderson, and Paul "Terry" Kane.
