Michael J. Holewinski, Jr., age 86, of Bel Air, MD passed away on January 29, 2019 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Michael Joseph and Mary (Stephen) Holewinski and husband of the late Catherine M. Holewinski. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a former machinist at American Can Company and he owned and ran Kenwood Liquors on Fleet and Kenwood in Highlandtown for several years. Formerly of Baltimore, Michael was the last of 9 siblings. He was a former member of St. Casimirs Catholic Church in Canton and currently a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Abingdon. He was a pitcher and an umpire for fast pitch softball and refereed basketball. Michael loved sports, fishing, crabbing and horse racing.
Mr. Holewinski is survived by daughter, Mary C. Taylor of Bel Air and her husband, Roy; three grandchildren, Natalie Tredway and her husband, Kenneth, Kimberly Foltz and her husband, Shawn, and Gregory Taylor and his wife, Heather; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Taylor, Hailey, and Bradley.
