Michael F. Dailey

Michael F. Dailey, age 79, of Joppatowne, MD passed away on November 29, 2012 at his home. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Michael Lawrence and Gertrude Fay Dailey. A Joppatowne resident for 42 years, he served our country in the National Guard for 8 years and embraced his Irish heritage as member of the Hibernian Society of New York. He worked at Massey Ferguson as a credit manager before retiring after 30 years of service. He coached ice hockey in New York and at the Orchard Ice Rink in Baltimore, enjoyed gardening and classical music.

Mr. Dailey is survived by his wife of 55 years, Joan Alma Dailey of Joppatowne, MD; sons, Michael P. Dailey of Taneytown, MD and Patrick B. Dailey of Joppa, MD; daughters, Kathleen T. Fitzgerald and husband, Allan of Joppa, MD and Linda M. Kilduff and husband, Michael of Edgewood, MD; brother, Francis Dailey of Baltimore, MD; sister, Dorothy Alfinito of Pasadena, MD ; 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
