Michael Bruce Whitt

MICHAEL BRUCE WHITT, son of Lorraine Sayers Bush of Bel Air, MD, and the late Wilson E. Whitt of Radford, VA, died of heart failure, October 31, in Martinsburg, West Virginia. He was 51.

Mr. Whitt was the father of Jessica Whitt Murphy and Natalie Whitt, and grandfather of Ashton J. Murphy, all of Springfield, Missouri. He is survived by his mother and six siblings, James Whitt of Havre de Grace, MD, Shirley Whitt Hannibal of Edgewood, MD, Hobert Bishop, Jr. of South Carolina, Pat Luna of Austin, TX, and Joann Connolly and Betty Bee of Bel Air, MD. He was predeceased by a brother, Jerry Bishop of Pennsylvania, and a loving stepfather, Joseph Bush of Bel Air, MD.

Mr. Whitt grew up in Bel Air, MD and served in the U.S. Army. He was an accomplished draftsman and furniture refinisher.
