Michael Andrew Pastelak

Michael Andrew Pastelak, age 61, of New Freedom, PA, died on June 3, 2009 at United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX. Born in Pottstown, PA, he was the son of Doris Marie Miller Pastelak of Street, MD and the late Michael Pastelak. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was employed with AAI Corp. of Hunt Valley, where he was a Senior Systems Engineer. A professional musician, he played both the saxophone and the clarinet. He loved to travel and enjoyed building and flying airplanes.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Pastelak is survived by his wife, Bonnie Pastelak of New Freedom, PA; step-son, Mickey J. Hardin and wife, Cheri; step-daughter, Sherry Orem and husband, John; siblings, Jeanne Prince and husband, Tom, Andrew Pastelak and wife, Deborah Ann, Barbara Sullivan and husband, Dan, John Pastelak, Marianne Malloy and husband, Harry; and Nicholas Pastelak and wife, Diane; four grandchildren, Brian M. Schweers, Leah K. Hardin, Mitchell J. Hardin, and Cael J. Orem; and many nieces and nephews.
