Michael A. Hable, age 58, of Edgewood, MD, passed away on April 2, 2013 at his home. Born in Elmira, NY, he is the son of Caroline Marie Haight Hable and the late Claude Glenn Hable. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he worked as a chemist for the government. He enjoyed hunting, model airplanes, and fishing, for which he built custom fishing rods. He also enjoyed and made beautiful woodworking. He loved movies, the Boston Red Sox, the Buffalo Bills, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife Mary; son, Andrew Hable and wife, Melanie, of Edgewood; daughter, Elizabeth Jones and husband, David, of Owings Mills; brothers, Joseph Hable and wife, Melissa of Horseheads, NY and Gregory Hable and Julie Naida of Millport, NY; sisters, Susan Hable-Berbary and husband, Jerry, of Elmira, NY and Teresa Vischansky and husband, Peter, of Millport, NY; grandchildren, Dylan Jones and Paxton Hable; sister and brother-in-laws, Elizabeth and Gene Protas and Gail and Patrick Patterson; mother-in-law, Eugenia Kelly; aunt and uncle, Clara and Donald McLeod; several nieces and nephews; and best friends, Gene and Wilma Sinar.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Hable, David Jones, Gregory Hable, Joseph Hable, Gene Sinar and Jason Nist.
