Meshack ''Buddy'' Meadows Jr.

Meshack "Buddy" Meadows Jr., age 72, of Edgewood, MD, died on May 22, 2009 at Perry Point Veterans Medical Center in Perry Point, MD. Born in Creswell, MD, he was the son of the late Meshack Meadows Sr. and Polly Gibson Meadows. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served as an MP and on the U.S. Army All American Pistol Team. He was a lifelong resident of Harford County and a truck driver for Cloverland Farms Dairy for 17 years and Maryland Redi-Mix for 16 years, where he retired. He was a charter member of Edgewood Assembly of God and enjoyed shooting, working on electronics, reading and photography. He loved his grandchildren.

Mr. Meadows is survived by his wife, Elzie Pauline Meadows of Edgewood, MD; his son, Buddy Eugene Meadows, and daughter-in-law, Susan, of Abingdon, MD; grandchildren, Kelley Briggs, James Briggs, Nikki Meadows, Jennifer Briggs, Kevin Meadows, Roberson Meadows Jr. and Ronald Meadows; and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Roberson Meshack Meadows Sr.
