Mervel "Mac" Lewis

Mervel "Mac" Lewis, age 77, of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away on December 7, 2022, after a lengthy illness. Born in West Jefferson, North Carolina, he was the son of Mervel Lewis, Sr. and Doris (Sturgill) Lewis. He was a very skilled custom home builder until he had a debilitating stroke in 1999. He significantly overcame his disabilities, learning how to drive again and volunteering at Upper Chesapeake for 18 years. He was an avid hunter, loved golf and was a member of North Harford Baptist Church

Mervel is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nancy (Moffitt) Lewis; daughter, Andrea (Blaine) Willis; son, Marc (Shannon) Lewis; grandsons, Tyler Willis, Kyle Lewis and Cole Lewis; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Willis and Alex Lewis; and sister, Beverly Herbert.

In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Keith Lewis and fur baby, Minee.
