Melvin Kenneth Wolinski

Melvin Kenneth Wolinski Sr., 70, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on May 31, 2015 at Lorien Riverside in Belcamp, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Melvin Wolinski (Mitch) and Dora Wolinski. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Susquehanna Hose Company in Havre de Grace and a member of the Maryland Jousting Hall of Fame and the Historical Preservation Commission. He was a very outgoing person who said "hello" to everybody. He enjoyed woodworking and feeding birds and squirrels.

Mr. Wolinski is survived by his wife, Penelope Deborah (Hudson) Wolinski; sons, Melvin K. Wolinski Jr. and Charles Wolinski; daughter, Kelly Mayo; stepchildren, Michael Conrad, Steven Conrad, and Sarah L. Conrad; and sister, Shirley Steger. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A Graveside Service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.
