Melvin ''Butts'' Haas

MELVIN "BUTTS" HAAS, age 79, of Joppa, MD, died on March 18, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late George and Catherine Sluaton Haas. He was an iron worker and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during the Korean War.

Mr. Haas is survived by his wife, Dorothy Josephine Spadaro Haas of Joppa, MD; a son, Bruce T. Haas of Joppa, MD; a daughter, Judy A. Ruskey of Edgemere, MD; and two grandchildren, Katherine and Margaret Ruskey of Edgemere, MD.
