Mellie Leona Mccaslin

MELLIE LEONA McCASLIN, age 80, of West Chester, Pennsylvania, died in Chester County Hospital on December 23, 2003. Born in Bowdill, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Catherine Susan Wilson Longworth, and the wife of the late Ralph Walter McCaslin. She had retired from the U.S. Government where she worked as a secretary. She served her country in the U.S. Navy during WW II serving in Pearl Harbor. She was a member of the Mountain Christian Church for 30 years. She was a devoted wife and mother.

Mrs. McCaslin is survived by two daughters, Tanya V. Larsen of St. Johns, Virgin Island; Monica L. Fioravanti-Moore and her husband, Christopher Moore of West Chester, Pennsylvania; one sister, Arvilla G. Keller of Florida; 8 grandchildren, four of which she shared a very special bond: Devin Fioravanti of West Chester, PA; Taisha C. Ringsborg of St. John, USVI; Chara J. Larsen of St. John, USVI; Tamara Skrivanek of Fairfax, VA; and four great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one son, Gregory R. McCaslin; one daughter, April L. Payton; one sister, Helen M. Davis; and one grandson, Justin Fioravanti.
