Maynard W. Geisler

Maynard W. Geisler, age 77, of Bel Air, MD passed away on December 16, 2017 at Lorien Riverside in Belcamp, MD. Born in La Hogue, Illinois, he was the son of George Geisler and Cleo (Ringeisen) Seiling. A Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army, he retired as Master Sergeant E8 with 20 years of service. He then went on to work at the Aberdeen Test Center at Aberdeen Proving Ground for 27 years before retiring in 2007. He was a life member of American Legion Post #39, VFW Post #5337, Disabled Veteran #30, Cedar Gun Club, National Rifle Association, National Trappers Association, Maryland Trappers Association and Tall Cedar of Lebanon #142. He was also a member of Tuscan Royal Arch # 142, Order of the Eastern Star, Harford Chapter #83, Mt. Ararat Lodge #44 and Trinity Lutheran Church.

Mr. Geisler is survived by his wife, Beverly Joyce (Snyder) Geisler; daughters, Cheryl Wood (Ronnie) and Marianne Fisher (Kenny); grandchildren, Jamie McArdle, Alisa Knopp, Travis Wood and Sarah Wood; and great-granddaughters, Ashlyn McArdle and Aubree McArdle.
