Maxine Zola Stoker

March 14, 1919 — December 4, 2010

Maxine Zola Stoker, longtime resident of Darlington, MD, died December 4, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was 91 years old, born in Ashe County, NC, to the late James Eli and Elizabeth Baker Taylor. Mrs. Stoker was a member of the Conowingo Baptist Church and enjoyed raising flowers and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kave and her husband, Richard, of Havre de Grace, MD; son, Robert R. Stoker and wife, Sandra, of Allentown, PA; daughter-in-law, Shirley Stoker of New Albany, MS; granddaughter, Jaclyn Meador; grandson, Robert Stoker; great-grandchildren; Robert, Patrick, Dylan, and Ethan. She was predeceased by her late husband, Earl Stoker of Darlington, MD; and sons, Gary L. Stoker of Darlington, MD and Bill W. Stoker of New Albany, MS.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Darlington Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 178, Darlington, MD 21034.
