Maxine E. Dodge

MAXINE E. DODGE, age 91, of Edgecomb, Maine, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on April 7, 2005. Born in Saco, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Harold Wilson and Minnie E. Slater Davidson and the wife of the late George Maynard Dodge. She was a graduate from Portland High School and Gorham Normal School in Maine. As a child she lived in Boothbay Harbor, Maine and then the family moved to Portland during the depression. She was active in the Edgecomb Congregational Church in Maine and in the Lincoln Club and Eastern Star. Four years ago she moved to Fallston to be with her family.

Mrs. Dodge is survived by one son, Ronald W. West of New Castle, Maine; one daughter, Carolyn D. Hess of Fallston; one sister, Donna Busby of Port Deposit; three granddaughters, Kellie Collise of Clairmont, New Hampshire, Stacie Haskell of South China, Maine, and Lisa Teele of Bremen, Maine; and eight great-grandchildren.
