MAURICE “JIM” SPENCER, age 54, of Bel Air, MD, died on December 2, 2007 at the home of his fiancee’s parents. Born in Keyser, WV, he was the son of Maurice Maxwell Spencer Sr. and Sarah Alice Faulk Spencer of Huntsville, AL. A graduate of West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, he was a supervisor at Home Depot and loved working on computers. He loved photography and enjoyed working on, and was looking forward to, restoring his 1972 Mustang. He enjoyed his family genealogy research and he loved his children.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancée, Deborah J. Magness of Bel Air, MD; one son, Travis Austin Spencer of Baltimore, MD; three daughters, Cynthia Marie Gary of Amelia, VA, Sarah Elizabeth Spencer of Richmond, VA, and Samantha Katlynn Spencer of Baltimore, MD; two sisters, Cynthia Lee Gerasimas and Sylvia Marie Hickman, both of Huntsville, AL; and five grandchildren. Also survived by his fiancée’s son, William Robert Magness of Bel Air, MD. He was predeceased by a brother, Earl “Woody” Spencer.
