Matthew Shade Buchanan

Matthew Shade Buchanan, age 33, of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away on September 2, 2020. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he is the son of Larry Buchanan and Tammy (Roberts) Ruff and her husband, Richard Ruff, of Jarrettsville. A veteran of the U.S. Marines, he worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. Matthew loved skateboarding, bike riding, cars and motorcycles. He loved his family, especially his children.

In addition to his parents, Matthew is survived by his sons, Matthew Shade Buchanan, Jr. and James Henry Buchanan; brothers, Mark Patrick Buchanan and Joshua Evan Buchanan: also survived and loved by numerous, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by granddad, Bruce Edward Roberts and grandmom, Loufanny Roberts.
