Matthew F. Wachter Jr.

MATTHEW F. WACHTER, JR., age 52, of Baltimore, MD, died at his home on June 16, 2008. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Carol Cecelia Sandru Wachter of Bel Air, MD and the late Matthew Francis Wachter, Sr. He owned and operated the Harbor Inn in Baltimore, MD and was a longshoreman for the Port of Baltimore. He enjoyed spending time with his children and swimming. Matt loved his dogs and always had two or three at a time.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Wachter is survived by three sons, Matthew F. Wachter III of Street, MD, Michael R. Wachter of Street, MD, and Joshua L. Smoot of Baltimore, MD; three brothers, Nicholas J. Wachter of Baltimore, MD, George C. Wachter of Bel Air, MD, and Richard L. Wachter of Airville, PA; two sisters, Denise C. Kuchling of Forest Hill, MD and Carol M. Moore of Abingdon, MD; and a grandson, Joshua L. Smoot Jr. of Baltimore, MD.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence W. Wachter.
