Mary-Louise Gertrude Bauer

Mary-Louise "Rosebud" Gertrude Bauer, BSN, RN, age 78, of Forest Hill, MD, formerly of Bel Air, died on March 9, 2010 at Hart Heritage in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Everett and Mary Theresa Haus Bauer. She was a nursing graduate from the University of Maryland, and had worked at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. She retired, after 33 years, from Harford Memorial Hospital where she was the night shift supervisor from 1966 to 1992. She attended St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Forest Hill and enjoyed NASCAR, the Baltimore Orioles, fishing and league bowling. She loved to travel to Ocean City, MD and Gettysburg, PA.

Ms. Bauer is survived by her nephews, J. Scott Bauer and wife, Trish, and daughters, Bridget and Ginger Bauer; Roger B. Bauer and wife, Pam, and children, Seth Earl, Leah Marie, William Edward, Brett Douglas, and Sarah Louise Bauer; and Grant Douglas Bauer and wife, Sheryle; niece, Mary Brooke Bauer Gabris and husband, John. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, William Edward Bauer and his wife, Theresa Marie.
