Mary Barbara Webster

Barbara Webster, age 88, of Aberdeen, Maryland, passed away on June 30, 2024. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret (Maynes) Correri and the beloved wife of 69 years to Harry Vincent Webster, Sr.

Barbara was a devout member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Aberdeen. Her dedication to her faith was evident through her involvement in the managing the usher scheduling, singing with the church choir, her role as a cantor and Eucharistic minister, and her efforts in teaching Pre-Cana, Post-Cana, and Confirmation classes. Her commitment extended to St. Joan of Arc Catholic School, where she was actively involved while her 8 children were enrolled.

Professionally, Barbara retired from Harford Day School, where she worked as a teacher's aide. She also served at Bakersfield Elementary School and drove a bus for Harford County. In her leisure time, she enjoyed cross-stitching, crafting many pieces for her grandchildren, and was an excellent cook. Barbara loved singing, particularly with her husband, and found joy in household chores such as cleaning and ironing. Swimming at Harford Community College was another favorite pastime.

Barbara's warm personality, great smile, and love for conversation left a profound impact on many who crossed her path. 

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her daughters: Mary Claire Maclay, Louise (Larry) Mabe, Celia (Jimmie) Hawkins, and Nan (Michael) Gingras; her sons: Harry (Eileen) Webster, Jr., Timothy (Bernie) Webster, Barry (Patty) Webster, and Daniel (Michelle) Webster; 31 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Paul Correri and Joseph Correri, Sr.; her sisters, Rosemary Correri and Margaret Greene; and her grandson, Teddy James Webster.
