Obituary

Mary Margaret Quinn (aka Penny), age 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 14, 2026. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Tony Baltren and Genevieve Anna (Lipinski) Baltren.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late William Paul Quinn Jr., with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. She is survived by her loving children: Brian and wife Denise Quinn, Jeff Quinn, Scott and wife Angelika Quinn. She was a cherished grandmother to Taylor Quinn, Makenzie Quinn, Katelyn Martinez, and Keira Martinez. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Paul and wife Kathy Quinn and her sister-in-law Nancy and husband Bill Bonadio, along with many dear nieces and nephews.

Being a mother and grandmother was Mary’s greatest joy in life. She never missed a game, concert, or recital, always showing her unwavering love and support. Mary had a wonderful sense of humor and a gift for laughter that brought joy to those around her. She was known for her warmth, kindness, and deep devotion to her family. Her grandchildren, in particular, were a constant source of pride and happiness, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Mary dedicated 30 years of service as a school bus driver with Baltimore County Schools before retiring in 2002. She took great pride in her work and in the lives she touched along the way. In her quieter moments, she found peace and happiness tending to the plants and flowers in her garden.

Mary will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
