Mary Patricia Young

Mary Patricia Young, 67, of Monkton, MD passed away on September 23, 2017 at her home. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of Robert Boone Tunney and Marjorie (Kreuzer) Tunney. She retired in 2014 from Franklin Square Hospital where she worked as a nurse for 7 years. She was an avid horseback rider and won numerous awards. She loved gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was an animal lover, especially with her dogs.

Ms. Young is survived by two sons, Robert E. Young (Lynn) of Bel Air and John M. Young (Maggie) of Lovettsville, VA; daughter, Erin P. Young (Howard Huang) of Ashburn, VA; 8 siblings; and grandchildren, Lauren and Kacie Young, Brendan and Gisele Huang, and Sabrina Young.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 siblings.
