Mary Patricia Hanley

Mary Patricia Hanley, of Bel Air, MD, died at the age of 81 on November 10, 2016 at her son's home in Monkton. She was born in Woodbury, NJ to John Francis and Mary (Kavanagh) O'Donnell and was the wife of the late Hugh J. Hanley Sr. She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church and the Emerald Isle Club. An avid reader, she loved the beach and all her family animals. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and was a Lacrosse Mom for all her children. She loved family gatherings and baking cakes and cooking for them. She enjoyed political discussion and topics, and loved any reason to have a party.

Survivors include her children, Sean P. Hanley and wife, Susan, of Monkton, Hugh J. Hanley Jr. and wife, Cindy, Patrick S. Hanley and wife, Sherri, and Terence O. Hanley and wife, Debra, all of Bel Air, Brendan X. Hanley and wife, Lisa, of Ocean City; grandchildren, Sean P. Hanley, Daniel O. Hanley, Hugh J. Hanley III, Matthew X. Hanley, Patrick S. Hanley, Kayla E. Hanley, Connor A., Gavin O. Hanley, Garrett J. Hanley, Curran M. Hanley, Trevor R. Hanley and Ian M. Hanley; and great-grandchildren, Kiera J. Daly and Rebecca S. Hanley. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother John F. O'Donnell.
