MARY O’BRIEN WHITE, age 87, of Joppa, Maryland, formerly of West Chester, Pennsylvania, died at her residence on December 5, 2002. Born in West Chester, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph O’Brien and the late Elizabeth Margaret Wall Sheehan, and the wife of the late Thomas J. White, Jr. She had worked as the Registrar at Immaculata College, Immaculata, Pennsylvania. She enjoyed doing needle work and reading.
Mrs. White is survived by two daughters, Betsy E. King of Joppa, Maryland; Helen C. Lazar and her husband, John, of Bradenton, Florida; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by one sister, Sister Marie Agnese, I.H.M.
Pallbearers were: Ed King, Bryan King, Steven King, Thomas King, Jason Utterback and John White.
