Mary Ellen Nelson

Mary Ellen Nelson, age 64, of Street, Maryland passed away on January 18, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Aline (Dancy) Crouse and wife of Robert Michael Nelson. Mary worked as a teller supervisor for more than twenty-five years before retiring. She loved to cook and bake, especially cakes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a care giver to many of her family over the years. 

In addition to her husband Mary is survived by her daughter, Samantha Nelson; son, Michael (Hannah) Nelson; grandchildren, Cole Wilkinson, Levi Nelson, Charlie Nelson; brother, Richard (Jeanette) Crouse; and sister, Wanda (Dewey) Burkett. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jerry Crouse, Charlie "Pete" Crouse, Jr., and George Crouse.

Immediately following the Graveside service there will be a luncheon at the Darlington Fire Company
